I feel like every since I've got pregnant my dog has been being bad! Peeing and pooping in the house when she was 100% trained! When she goes outside she just want to play and bark at other dogs instead of doing her business. She is the most dramatic dog in the universe and rather starve herself to follow us around all day. Now I have to make sure I sit around her bowl a couple times a day so she'll *maybe*  eat. I got in trouble by the vet on Saturday because she's underweight (that was the only test she failed). So now she has me softening her dry food and mixing it up with wet food so she can eat. Oh and I bought a variety pack of wet food but apparently she only like the filet mignon flavor. She needs to get her act straight because when the baby gets here we can't be satisfying her every waking desire! She's such a princess and literally was not behaving this way a few months ago! I love her to death she's my first baby but she just pooped in the house 5 minutes ago after she was just outside! My Sophie:

Dogs can tell you're pregnant, they just don't know how many puppies you're having. There's a change in hormones they can detect and it can sometimes give them all sorts of anxiety.
On prettyfluffy.com there is an article called "How to Prepare Your Dog for a Baby, the Dog Lovers Guide" and it is so helpful. 
Do some research on preparing your little pooch for the impending storm that is a newborn! 😊
My 80lb mastiff mix knew I was pregnant before I did and started treating me very carefully, following me around and needing to watch over me. He hasn't been more misbehaved than normal, but female and male dogs will act differently. Your little girl may just be trying to assert a sort of dominance as a female, now that she can sense you're pregnant.

I've been wondering this too. I have 2 dogs a girl and a boy. The boy is mine but the girl is my fiances. And lately she has been clinging to me more than him and he doesn't really want anything to do with me. Yesterday I took him to the vet and there was a lot of dogs ( my boy is a rescue from a home where he got beaten so he has high anxiety) and he actually went to nip at the vet. He's never acted this way. I have a 1 year old and she jumps on the dogs and pulls at them and they pay her no mind so I'm not worried about us but I thought that was unusually odd behavior

She's probably feeling the things that are changing. Just make sure to give her the same attention that you did before. She just can sense things are changing. I know our dog does. This is the second pregnancy I've had with her and she did act different but we made sure to give her the same attention as before baby and she calmed down :)

I agree with people saying she can sense you're pregnant. My Boxer has an even harder time leaving me alone now, than before. And when another animal comes near me she paces in between me and the other animal, and growls. Before she used to just sit next to me and stare them down quietly.

Also my friends Boxer who is appropriately named Grumpy is usually kind of an ass hole. But now he follows me around and once I sit down he lays his head in my lap.

With my daughter my ex and I's Jack Russell got very jealous near my due date and started being a jerk to me, also using the living room as his bathroom. After she arrived he didn't do it once, and he was on guard of her if I left the room.
