For those of you have had high BP near the end of your pregnancy, what did your doc do??

My 1st pregnancy i had super high BP and was put on bedrest for a week and then went into labor the day before my due date. I have a diff OB this time and am already having swelling issues @ 26w6d and am worried ill end up with high BP again. It was so high they wouldnt let me walk to my delivery room or get out of the hospital bed til i had him. Kind of hoping this one will just induce if it gets as high as last time.

Be very careful about your salt intake! Ask your doctor about preeclampsia bc mine started with high bp and swelling.  Preeclampsia can be very dangerous for you and the baby! Make sure you keep a close eye on your swelling and make sure your not sweeping fast as that's a sign of it as well!

Checkups weekly, and ultimately induction.

I'm 34 weeks and the last few weeks my blood pressure has definitely gone up. My doctor just monitors it closely. If I feel uncomfortable I call and go in for a check.

Mine is still 'normal' for pregnancy but it has obviously risen the last couple weeks. The doctors haven't said anything so I guess it's okay. I'm 39 weeks.
