I'm done working...

I started my maternity leave 7 days before my due date. I have a stressful job working for an airline doing 10 hr shifts a day, sometimes more and am expected to be on top of my game at all times. Some women, even those without children have made it a point to share with me that they worked "up until the day" when they were pregnant. If I hear this one more time I swear I'm going to lose it. It's fine if that was your path, but it is not mine. I know what I wanted and therefore took the action I felt necessary. Why do people find this unsolicited advice necessary?? Am I the only one who took off a little bit early?? Please share.
