Partner controlling your pubic hair?

I just read a Cosmo article on how 40% of women were told by their male partner that they need to (by some form) change their pubic hair. I really think it matters by the form of which they ask.  My boyfriend reminds me when it's time to shave, which I would do anyway. I'm just more comfortable with waiting an additional week or two. His face is down there so I think that's well within his rights. What do you ladies think? Has your partner ever demanded that you do something with your pubic hair?

My boyfriend has never said anything about my pubic hair. He knows it's all up to me and loves it either way. I don't get why so many guys expect girls to be freshly shaven, silky smooth, smelling like flowers, meanwhile they got coarse pubic hair and sweaty balls and expect us to give a bj anyway. The fuck?

i barely ever shave. maybe it once a month, sometimes longer. i know my boyfriend likes it shaved, but he is fine with whatever and always makes sure to tell me that he likes whatever makes me happy.

I would not tolerate someone telling me to do something. I have never faced this issue as I never grew hair in that area. But I think if they mention it and just say "hey how would you feel about shaving" instead of "you have to shave" then it's different.

Every now and then my bf will say something about my pubic hair but he usually pairs it with he also needs to do something. But we both havent groomed in a while and its been fine. Hes embarrassed when i go down on him though bc he hasnt had time to even trim. We have made jokes/talks about him going clean and he hasnt said anything about my hair, but ive been wanting to try waxing and surprising him. Only after or when he goes clean though bc ow
