So I just got diagnosed with PCOS this past week. I haven't had a period since getting off BC in the last 8 months. My doctor said her course of treatment is to put me on birth control again for 6 months in order to get "my period regulated"  and then try hormones. Is this the normal course of action for TTC with PCOS? I really don't want to get back on birth control because of the side effects. It's also never regulated my periods so I'm super skeptical.
