Can you go to the emergency room for abnormal vaginal bleeding?

I've had two periods this month. On top of that, I keep having this brown, stringy discharge and intense, sharp pains.

if it is ALOT and not normal, or if your pain is very bad... know your body and listen to it.. if you can wait for a gyno appt in a few days than wait

Don't do it. It'll just be a shit ton of money you spend with no answers. I went after my chemical pregnancy when I started bleeding two weeks later and it hurt sooo bad. The dr was like "I hear you have some lady problems. I don't know anything about that. Go see the gynecologist tomorrow" and prescribed me ibuprofen. 🙄 ER doctors are not gynecologists. They're just going to tell you to go see one.

Well it depends... I once started bleeding so heavy that I bleed through a super sized tampon in 5 minutes and I was passing out, yeah then I would go in. Or if it's extremely painful. But pls don't waste ER doctors time.. you can make an appointment for that.
