Spotting after sex
Hello,
I have had my IUD (hormonal - Kyleena) for just about a month now, and have been experiencing red/brown spotting on a daily basis (however I was told that this would be the norm for the next 3-6 months). However, after sex, I sometimes experience dull cramping several hours after having sex, as well as some bleeding - which, instead of the brownish color is now bright red.
Does anyone know what's going on? I know my IUD is in place as I check my strings on a weekly basis, and always check them before and after sex.
