Diva cup??

Question

I'm questioning whether or not to get the diva cup. I've been reading about it, and about 95% of the reviews are positive!

But I'm concerned. I've only ever tried to use a tampon once, and it felt weird and I panicked the entire time thinking it would get stuck, or it wasn't in correctly. Then pulled it out after like ten minutes because I was so stressed out about it (which hurt like crazy!)

Anyway I don't want to spend $40 on something I may decide not to use. I guess what I'm wondering is what people who have negative thoughts about tampons thought of it? Is the thought of it more comforting since it doesn't go that far inside of you? What does it feel like inside of you? They say you can't feel it at all, but there has to be some type of sensation right?

Tmi information coming. Tampons personally didn't work for me because I usually pass blood clots. They would be so heavy to the point it would push out the tampon. Eventually I bought the diva cup. Best decision in my life. It could hold my blood clots!!!! I felt free!!! You don't have to worry about having to check to see if your string is showing when you go swimming due to there not being a string. It takes a while to get the hangout so get a pack of flushable wipes. You'll like it I bet! There's nothing better than being free

I really truly recommend getting a menstrual cup (doesn't necessarily has to be the Diva cup, there are a bunch of brands). I used a tampon like one time before buying my cup and I did not like it. I could feel it inside me and the string bothered me a lot. With the cup I can feel barely anything, it's much more comfortable than a tampon, and more important, mucho more safer. Doesn't have any chemics or anything. Tampons also make you feel a lot more cramps because the cloths stay inside and that's what makes you have terrible cramps. If you take good care of the cup it's going to be a really good investment. The only thing you'd feel is the stem in case you have a low cervix and you don't cut it. Further, I strongly recommend you to try the menstrual cup out (I know I'm in love with it hahaha).

I'm absolutely obsessed with my diva cup. It's a complete game changer for me.  It can even stay in longer than a tampon so I'm less stressed out throughout my day. It's definitely something to get used to, but once you get the hang of how it works it isn't bad.

I love my diva cup. I wish I would have known about it sooner! It takes a few tries to get the placement right. Look up YouTube videos.
