IUD removal

When I got my mirena, it hurt like a MOFO. It's been 6 months and I've noticed my acne is coming back, and I've also noticed pain in my uterus when I was supposed to have my period this past month (I took a test- I'm not preggo). My question is, does it hurt to get it taken out? I'm [mentally] still not over the pain from insertion and I have a very high pain tolerance (when I broke my arm at 3yo, parents waited 4 days to take me to the ER Bc I was swinging from the monkey bars with a broken ulna and radius) PLZ BE HONEST Bc I want/need to get this out, I just want to be prepared if it's going to be as painful as when I got the damn thing.
