How does prolonged anxiety affect fetus?

Am I flooding the baby with anxiety hormones? I'm going back to work after being out for a year and I feel a constant state of anxiety. Like physical symptoms in my chest and stomach. I'm getting really concerned that it's going somehow affect this little baby girl. Anyone else deal with this or have insight?

Exact same thing happened to me last week! I started a new job after not working for 5 months and it hasn't been easy. Came home the first day and started crying as I was so overwhelmed. It's gotten a little easier, but the anxiety is still there. Especially since they don't know im expecting 😳  just hang in there. It'll get better for both of us!!

Try and find some way to relax. Share what your feeling with someone close to you that can help❤️ I know it's easier said than done but I fully believe stress and anxiety does effect your unborn baby. I was under a huge amount of stress and anxiety with my 3rd and she ended up being so fussy. I worked with infants for over 6 years and she has been my toughest to date 🙁
