house party

So may/June is birthday month in my family (my moms, brother, mine and many of our friends) every year we have a house party to celebrate with a DJ/ live music ect. Which goes from 6-12am. This year we are planning to have it at the end of may, the same day my LO turns 5months. I haven't left her with a babysitter yet, let alone a sleep over. So my quistion is would it be crazy to have my baby sleeping in her bedroom (I have the monitor of of course and the party is strictly outdoor) during the party or Baby sitter over night ? I personally don't know how I feel about a baby sitter yet and would rather her close to me where I can monitor her however my mom and SO want her at a babysitters. I'm starting to think I might just have to sit this one out but am so looking forward to it :( Opinions ?
