jealous boyfriend

My boyfriend gets so mad and jealous when I bring up my ex... but he can talk about his all the time. When I bring mine up it's because I need to talk to him about it- my ex emotionally broke me down and I'm still recovering. I just don't know what to do?.. I only feel comfortable talking to him about this but he doesn't want to listen. We've been together for 9'onths and we're both adults. I'm just so lost..
