Should we break up?

My boyfriend recently started volunteering at the fire department. Ever since then we never see each other! I mean don't get me wrong I 100% support his decision to volunteer but I don't think spending time together once a week is too much to ask. The past week I've noticed he's changed. Now he said he's going to quit his job so he can volunteer more! He says this is good because we'll be able to see each other more often. So I asked if we can hang next week and he said we can try. Our relationship recently hit 3 months and ever since then he's been acting different. I asked how he feels about our relationship and he got mad and said why would I ask that he obviously likes and wants to be with me. He's been distant and I miss him. I told him and he says he misses me to but when I ask to hang he's always too busy. I feel like I'm not even his gf anymore. I feel like he's treating me like a friend. I think he might just be getting over the honeymoon phase and wants some space but I feel really neglected. I'm trying to wait a week or two to see I things get better. Idk what to do. I told him I miss him and want to spend more time but he doesn't seem to care.
