My baby is almost 2 weeks old and has been sleeping in our bedroom with the halo bassinet. He has been having awful nights and I can hardly get him to sleep in the bassinet. Last night I decided I would try putting him down in his crib and he actually had a decent night of sleep. I was so paranoid letting him sleep in his crib in his own bedroom that I slept on the floor making sure he was okay. I know they say have your baby sleep in the same room for the first few months but if he sleeps better in his crib do you think it's okay to let him? I would use a video monitor as well to make sure he's okay but I'm still not sure if this is a safe option?
