When to buy baby's first walking shoes??

Is it when your baby takes its first steps or when they are cruising around the furniture?

I didn't when she was walking outside!  Babies are better off without shoes unless they're outside for balance and development reasons. That's what my pedi told me.

I got soft sole shoes at 10 months because I wanted him to get use to having shoes on his feet when we go out but he usually takes them off lol

Shoes hinder the natural development of the bones. It's best to wait as long as you can.

I started putting soft sole moccasins on my daughter around 6 months, only when we would go out to keep her feet warm. At 8 months I started putting little sneakers on her since she's walking with assistance, but still only wears them if we're going out of the house. Usually if I'm wearing shoes, so is she.

My girl is 9.5 months and has started cruising along furniture doc said for her to start wearing shoes

When they're walking confidently on their own. 👣

Once they start independently walking. But you can get soft soled shoes before if ya want.
