HELP!

So I like this guy a lot he's in my choir and I asked him to my middle school dance!! But not to sound to strong forward or something I said it was just as friends going, but I'm giving him all these hints telling him I like him and he'll tell me he's attracted to my looks and likes my personality but doesn't go for me. And I just don't know what to do. I want to try to live every day like it's my last. And so if one of you girls could just possible send me something of what you'd say in that situations it would help me a ton!!
