Phone Call📲

Today i answered a phone call from a ex.. wrong, I know. But man I still love him, the thing is I have a new bf. I'm already attached to my new bf.. I made sure my ex new I had a bf, I wasn't flirting. Well after the phone it seemed like i started picking fights with my bf.. his starting to get really mad and I'm getting upset cause i care so much about him. He already met my family. He keeps telling me to stop apologizing if I'm gonna keep doing the same stuff. Like starting the arguments. What should I do? Please help... should I tell him that my ex called?..
