Let your baby sleep on tummy?

Question to anybody. My son will be 9 months, this passed few nights, I noticed he been rolling over to his tummy. He like barring his face into his mattress. I try reposting him but he want go back to his tummy lol. I'm not sure if I should be concern or is he at point where it okay for him to start sleeping on his tummy? He in a sleep sack at night. Just wondering...

Or am I being paranoid about him soffocating himself the way like putting head.  Lol😆 he stubborn

My baby has been sleeping on her tummy since birth. I noticed that she slept way longer on her tummy so I just went with it. So your baby is more than okay.

My dd has slept on her belly since 3 months. We put her down on her back and she flips and stays that way. The doctor told us we didn't have to worry as long as she was able to roll onto her back from her stomach which she has been able to do since 5 days after she learned how to roll the other way 😂

My daughter has NEVER  slept on her back she 8 months 9 months next Friday. She sleeps on her tummy and side. Whatever works for the child in order for them to sleep just get up and check on the baby.

My baby will be 9 months on the 16th and she's been sleeping on her tummy since she was born lol of course supervised but at 4 months un supervised all three of my kids are very smart they've been taught well I started tummy time since the first day she was born so she has a strong neck

As long as you put him down on his back and he rolls over on his own, you shouldn't need to worry. There is a sleep regression that happens around 8-10 months where they are often practicing their mobility skills in their sleep. Sometimes this translates to sleeping on their tummy or sometimes they wake up and practice crawling/pulling up etc.

As long as LO can roll,  it's safe for them to sleep on their tummy. (Assuming the sleep sack is not restricting arms) My LO has been a tummy sleeper for months!

My LO has been a tummy sleeper since 1m (bad mommy here). Once they can roll and have good head control it's usually fine. If he doesn't turn his head side to side I might worry though.
