tubes tied with midwife?

Has anyone had their tubes tied following a vaginal birth? Can i still get my tubes tied if i go with a midwife? I know they'll try to talk me out of it but one pregnancy with hyperemesis has been enough for me. Anyone know? I haven't been successful googling.

You can have a midwife for the delivery but an actual doctor will prefer your surgery just like they would if you needed a csection

Midwives are not doctors. Only a surgeon can tie your tubes.

I heard there's a slightly different less invasive procedure where they scar the tubes instead. Perhaps that's what they do??
