13 Reasons Why - idk about Hannah

I know this is an old topic. But I decided to watch the show again. And my views have kind of changed. At first I defended Hannah to the max and related to her in a way because I was also bullied badly in school, had rumors spread about me, and I remember contemplating suicide. But now that I watch it again, it does seem more like Hannah killed herself more for revenge than anything. It rubs me the wrong way. Like she took the time to make the tapes and be snarky to everyone before she actually did it. And since she had sent the tapes out, maybe she felt like she had to commit to killing herself even if she may have had second thoughts in the final moment. But regardless of wanting revenge along with wanting to end her life, that is still a mental issue, and I still feel sorry for her. And I get the show basically had to be that way so it could tell the story. But I wish they hadn't made her so snarky and obnoxiously confident, kind of high and mighty, in the way she talked in the tapes. I feel a truly suicidal person would have a sadder tone to their voice, not like she's accomplishing something. What are your opinions?
