waking for pacifier ALL NIGHT?! help!

My daughter who is 4.5 months old won't sleep through the night because when she moves- she wakes up and cries until we put her pacifier in her mouth. Anyone else have or had this problem? Any solutions?!!!!

Welcome to the 4 month sleep regression. The pacifier is her main sleep association so when she awakens slightly and it's not there she needs your help putting it back so she can fall back asleep. You can try to start weaning her from her paci or try to figure out ways to make it easy for her to put it back herself. I highly recommend you read about the 4 month sleep regression.

Idk if you have tried not giving him the pacifier at night, but that is what I do because I don't want to spend all night fussing with it. I read that babies can't effectively find and reinsert a pacifier until around 9 months. Have you tried a wubbanub though? At least that would stay put and would be eaiser to reinsert.

Have you gotten the clip for her? Maybe dieting the day, if you give her one try putting it in her hand and trying to get her to do it herself. That's what we had to do
