How to keep Father away from child

I don't want my child's dad to be able to see my child at all we are not married he's not on the birth certificate. But I want to prevent any future contact he could ever make with my daughter him being able to get 50% custody or anything like that how would I have to go to get him completely unable to see her. Edit since everyone can't just give me advice and has to put their opinions in I have good reasons for wanting him away I was In a really abusive relationship and was threatened my entire pregnancy by this man if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all I have my battles going on and I don't need rude people in my comments thanks to the few who helped
