first time mom advice

So my daughter is now 9 months old. For the first 7 months she was so happy, playful and rambunctious. Once she hit 8 months, everything changed. She became extremely whining, she whines if i put her down to change her, if i put her in the car seat she screams, if i put her in the stroller, etc. when i take her around ppl she doesnt want ANYONE touching her except me and my husband or she yells to the top of her lungs. I am as loving aa possible. I never raise my voice around her, i try and cuddle her as much as possible and tell her how much i love her, im wondering if this is just a growth spurt or what! Is anyone experiencing this with their child? Im a FTM so everything i experience is all new to me. Some advice would be helpful
