Should I get Mirena?

Question

I've been wanting to get an IUD for some time now, but I'm scared of the insertion pain and possible spotting for months. But honestly I can look past those things if that's the worst thing about it.

How has Mirena (or IUD in general) been for you? Should I go for it?

No!!!! I got the mirena and it is horrible my doctor keeps saying give it more time but it has been eight months so far and I have gained 30 pounds!!! 
Way worse cramping and it didn't slow down or lessen my period any.

I would say no. Personally I hated it, and it was the worst choice I ever made. I spotted non stop for two years. It gave me awful and sometimes severe pains. I would never recommend it to anyone.

I have the Nexplannon implant and that's been great for me. But my best friend got it and it was horrible for her so she switched to the cooper IUD. She said the pain was like cramps, didn't really take anything more than a Tylenol and was able to work out and function normally the next day, basically pain free.

Hell know hateded Mirena with a passion first I end up getting migraines which I never had before had to get put on medicine for it then I got the worst cramps ever and then I started spotting more and more and every month wouldn't recommend to anybody ever. Oh and I would rather have another c-section then have it put in again I thought I was going to pass out from the pain no one warned me about how bad the pain was.
