Random thought

I just had a random thought out of nowhere earlier and thought I post it. I always wondered this. When a couple gets married and the priest says does anyone object to this couple getting married. Does anyone really object? Has this happened to anyone or you know someone that it happened to? I never seen it happen at a wedding. Just curious as to what happens after someone objects. I would think that the person who objects gives their reason and then the bride and groom continue with the wedding based on their decision and that person is removed from the ceremony. Maybe I just watch too many movies lol. What are your thoughts?
