Stay at home wife/mommy?

Question

We have no kids yet but trying. My husband has been begging me to quit my job. Says it's way too stressful and way to physical on my body (which it is). Says that he wants me to just stay home and continue trying for a baby and relax. I love my job but I also see where he is coming from. He's also in a class for another year and half that takes all of his time and says me quitting will give us more time together. Mind you I just got a promotion.

Don't do it. I was a stay at home wife for two months and he was in the field for a month. For the other month it got loney he was gone at work I'm at home cleaning cooking and waiting for him to come home. I'm left my job to move to his new duty station in Missouri witch thankfully after three months I found a job witch I love. But if your use to being independent and working it's so hard adjusting it great not going to work for a couple of weeks but in the long run not making your own money is difficult. I will say it has its perks being at home all day my husband loved coming home to a clean house warm shower and a hot meal. But I just needed to feel more important than just that I wanted to work make my own money and not rely only on his income. I do agree as well, we're TTC too since November but that's not reason to quit. You just got a promotion congradulations !!! But if your really considering think about going part time.
