husbands wants daycare
Hi lovelies!
This might be long so I apologize in advance.
My son is 19 months old, and I'm a SAHM, 8 weeks pregnant with our second child. My husband works 60+ hours a week. Throughout my sons life, daycare has been brought up many times, and my husband and I have been on the same page. We found it be an unnecessary thing and don't care for it personally.
Now, after literally having this conversation last week after his father brought it up, my husband and I said again we don't feel comfortable putting our son in daycare yet- my husband has now changed his mind.
He wants me to let go of our son more and give myself time away from him. Which I don't want nor need. My husband thinks that my son will get a better education and learn to be away from me if we enroll him in daycare.
I need your ladies opinions on daycare and how you have handled a scenario similar. I just need advice, as it is literally breaking my heart just thinking of putting him in daycare, while I sit at home twiddling my thumbs.
