is this workplace discrimination - explanation below...?

Ma
My daughter has had some severe medical issues and has been to the ER multiple times and nearly had emergency surgery - she still faces surgery but when she's bigger.
Also I was in the hospital at one point. This happened two weeks in a row.
I never missed a shift. I missed three optional days (where I observe the class in case I need to teach it someday and the woman that teaches that told me it was no problem and to take care of myself and family).
Back in January the dean told me she would make me full time in the summer. Well the schedule has come out and I'm not full time - I went to speak with her and she said "you have a husband - I raised my daughter with no help and I still had to work and never missed a day"
I replied "I haven't ever missed a day that I'm responsible for" and she said "oh I must me thinking of someone else but I can't make you full time - you need a better track record and your child obviously has issues and we are on a hiring freeze" which is a lie because she promoted someone to full time. I've worked there a year and I've covered others shifts when needed - taught outside my specialty, been on the conduct committee, worked when I should've been on bedrest.
I offered to show her the admission paperwork for myself and my daughter and she wouldn't accept it - just rolled her eyes and once again said how she made it through being a single mother no issues like me.
I'm just upset and I feel discriminated against.
