licorice root help increase your fertility?

Has anyone tried licorice root and got pregenant? I have read it can help you ovulate, detox your liver, and improve your cervical mucus. I'm thinking about trying it they say you should take it at the beginning of your cycle before ovulation. I'm currently taking vitex and it has helped my periods get more regular. Curious what your experience has been with licorice root?
