Differing Opinions

Why is it that when you have an opinion that differs from what someone wants to hear, they say you're being "negative" or some other bs like that. I'm not even being negative at all. I literally just see things in a different way than you do, and you don't like that, so you act like I'm the bad person.. I'm neither pessimistic nor optimistic. I just choose to say "we'll see how it goes" no matter if I hope it goes one way or the other. I don't know what's so hard to understand about that. It's not that I don't care, but personally I think it's a waste of energy to get my hopes up 🙄
