Is this okay to do?

Is it bad to take a couple placebo pills to start my period but skip the rest and go to a new pack just to end it? I just like to get my period so i know im not pregnant but dont want to bleed a ton like i do. Does doing this lower the effectiveness if my pill or harm my body at all?

I'm pretty sure it'll mess up the cycle of everything. I'm not 100% tho. But I'm pretty sure you either should take all of the placebo pills. Or skip them completely and start a new pack. If you do that, don't do it all the time tho.

Yes it would affect the effectiveness of the pills since you don't take the full pack so you can to be protected on your placebo week. It would just mess up your cycle and your pill's effectiveness as well
