birth control scare!!

So tomorrow is my appointment to get my IUD inserted and I'm soooo nervous!! This is my only option since it's the only non-hormonal BC out there and i really don't want to take extra hormones. So does anyone have any experience with the IUD insertion??? How did it go? Is it as painful as it seems? (I do have a baby boy already) and what advice do you guys have for me?? Thanks in advance!😊
