Help with grey hair

I'm still quite young (in my 20's) but I've inherited my mom's white hair genes. I literally do a home touch up on my roots once a month because they go grey so quick. I'm so tired of dying my white roots. Is there a better solution out there? Ladies with grey hair or grey roots, what do you use on your hair? Is there a magic potion that I don't know about? My grey roots are so apparent because I have dark brown hair. I'm looking for other methods to better maintain my hair. Thanks!
