I want to get married already 🙄

Hey ladies, I can't help but to sit here and cry my eyeballs out as I skim through all of the beautiful engagement rings. It's such a beautiful thing and pregnancy hormones make it no better. I'm 25 my boyfriend is 28 I've been with my boyfriend for about 6 years and we are expecting our first child later on this year (it wasn't planned). I'm super excited and although my boyfriend and I have spoke about marriage before and what kind of rings I like etc I can't help but to feel sad. He's a great guy and I love him so much and he treats me great but I really want to get married even if I go to the courthouse, I don't care to have a million people there. I don't care for some big extravaganza. I just want it to be a moment that we share together. He tells me he doesn't want to just buy any ole ring and have any ole wedding because I deserve much more and if he's going to do that for me he's going to do it right the first time, I understand that but I guess my question to you ladies is, do we give our men a time frame in our head? Like can I say to myself if he doesn't marry me in 3 years I'm over it? (Not saying I would throw a perfectly great relationship away but you know what I'm saying) I don't want to have the house and the baby etc with no ring (even though I know sometimes things happen in any order) I don't want him to get comfortable and feel like he doesn't have to marry me (don't get me wrong some people don't like marriage and feel it's just another way for America to make money I get it) but I love love!! and that's just what I want. I know he values marriage because his parents have been married for over 17 years and he always tells me he was raised to value & respect that union. we already spoke about marriage but I think I earned my ring at this point, I knew since the first day I met him at 15 that there was just something about him and he's been in my life ever since. Am I wrong for feeling this way? What do I do? What do you ladies think honestly?
