Bio Oil..?

I'm currently 25 weeks and I noticed quite a few stretch marks on my belly. Just wondering if Bio Oil has actually worked for anyone? I know genetics play a big role, but I'd like to read your personal experiences, thank you.

No lotion oil or potion will stop you from getting them hun. Drink loads of water to keep yourself hydrated and slow controlled weight gain are the only ways to control how many you get....you can reduce the amount you'd have gotten by eating healthy and drinking proper amounts of water which will keep you from packing on weight quickly.

I'm nearly 20 weeks and been feeling a lot of stretching around my belly. I've been using a coco butter based lotion and it's stop the pain instantly. It's really improved my skin elasticity. I forgot to apply it one night and the next day was horrible again. And it's a third of the price of bio oil 😀

I think BioOil kept my belly from getting itchy. My skin is naturally elastic-y so I only got one stretch mark at like 39 weeks. I don't think BioOil had anything to do with it. I'm going to get it again to keep the itching at bay though :).

Bio oil made me break out wherever I applied it!! I ended up using nadinolas coco butter lotion and I only have stretch marks on my hips!! I did have some on my thighs, but they faded and you can't even tell they're there.

Love Mustela stretch mark prevention cream & firming toning lotion . I use them together . Helps keeps the skin hydrated so it can stretch . I think if it like a hair strand ... when it's dry it can't expand if it's wet/moist it becomes more forgiving like a slinky . Elasticity is better when oil or lotion . It's not going to 100% prevent but it will help aid them and not be itchy . They will fade after birth 😁
