HCG levels??

I had my bloodwork done on Friday, I should have been 5 weeks 3 days, but my HCG came back 253. And now I have been freaking out all weekend waiting for Monday so I can call the doctors. Has anyone else had low HCG levels??

Your doctor will probably redraw soon, until you get a second set of numbers I wouldn't stress. The range for hcg is so wide at 5 weeks (100 to 10,000) that its not really the initial number that matters but the rise in the numbers.

My first hcg draw was 200. The second one was 753. I thought I was almost 5 weeks but turns out at the time I was only 3w5d. I've had 3 ultrasound since showing a healthy baby!

What you "should" be could very well be what you're not. They'll retest you to confirm if your numbers are doubling, in the meantime deep breaths and try and relax. That's the best thing you can do at this point.
