when did you have to buy maternity clothes?

I'm only 9 weeks but I really don't feel like I can wear my jeans much longer! The button is killing me. I have to wear jeans for work, thank God when I get home, SWEATS! Bump doesn't look like much, but man my jeans are tighttttt around the belly.

Buy them when you are ready. My bloat was bad at 7 weeks, so I started wearing maternity jeans and pants then. They are a life saver.

I think i started buying maternity clothes around 10w. The pressure from the bloat and the tightness of the jeans is SO uncomfortable. You should get a good pair of maternity jeans for work... Makes a big difference.

I did the elastic around the button trick until I couldn't button anymore (which was around double your weeks, maybe even 15w the earliest) and got a belly band to put over the top so you couldn't really tell I couldn't close my jeans anymore. But around 21ish weeks is when I started wearing strictly leggings. Luckily I managed to find a couple jean looking leggings for when I want the jean look. :)

I bought my first pair around 8 weeks but didn't actually wear them until 10.  The bloat was so uncomfortable and I knew I'd need maternity pants eventually.... they are amazing!

Never too early to be comfortable! Plus, the earlier you buy them the more use you'll get out of them.
