Am I pregnant?

I miscarried naturally at almost 9 weeks exactly 5 weeks and 3 days ago and have not gotten my period yet. My doctor told me to expect it about 4-6 weeks after my miscarriage. This morning I woke up sooooo nauseous and with a headache so bad I had to lay back down. I didn't plan to try again until July, but I took a cheap test today and it was negative. Is it possible I'm pregnant? If not when should I expect my period again?

It often takes a while to get your period after miscarriage, I wouldn't sweat it

If you got a negative, it's negative. Contact your ob for bloodwork.

It's possible but I didn't get my period until 7 weeks post d&c so you could be having symptoms because it's coming soon. If you still don't get your period in another 3 weeks I'd take a test again.

It is possible! I had a medical miscarriage just over 3 weeks ago after baby stopped growing at 9 weeks and I just received a positive test today much to my surprise. I did 4 tests last week to check hcg from last pregnancy had gone and they all came back negative so to get a positive result today I'm very happy but scared! Go do your test and let us know! It's possible I got pregnant after my miscarriage. But your hcg was high at 9 weeks so it takes a while to go to 0. After it goes to 0 it takes 2-4 to ovulate then another two weeks for your period to start. After my first I had all of the symptoms and got a negative test but my second miscarriage I had no symptoms and got a positive now I'm 26w. Your hormones are trying to settle down so your body can reset. I'm so sorry for your loss. Please don't give up 🌺
