Why did you get your degree?

Piggy backing off of another poll, I wanna know why people get their degrees. For me it's for my future children and to be able to provide for them and also to show them that you don't have to be good at everything, you need to find your niche!

Because I loved learning.

Can't afford it at the moment, but I'll get my diplomas for me, myself & I.

Also for the high school students suffering from mental illnesses. I want to give them the support I never got.

Didnt finish yet, but for myself and for my naive ideals.

For me because I wanted to challenge myself and study what I like at the same time.

For my naive ideals because I know how terrible our health system here is and I wanted to make a difference. But the more I know the system, the more impossible I realize how difficult it ia to change it.

I just hated school and couldn't decide what to do. I get good grades but really idgaf when it comes to school. I've taken a lot of college classes but I'd rather be a stay at home mom or housewife.. I should marry a farmer and cook for them lol. I might go back when I decide what to do. I look at the list of degrees and literally nothing seems right for me. :\ I went to school for business.. Didn't like it. Went to school for dental hygiene.. Didn't like it... Third time better be a charm. 👌 Maybe I can just marry rich instead? 🤔

For myself, my career, and my kids. I also proved a lot of people wrong when I graduated because I worked full-time, went to school full-time, and had 2 kids in undergrad, and finished my Master's while pregnant with baby #5.
