cramping and nausea after period....help?!?!

first of all I have called and made an appt with my ob but it's in 2 weeks....i had a late period this cycle ...im normally 32 days but this time I was 48. I had spotting for a 3 days just tiny tiny amount.....then normal flow for 5 days. it's been about 7 days since I quit bleeding and for the past 4 or 5 days I have had heavy cramping like right before I start, along with nausea off and on all day...but both are worse after sex or during a car ride. .....i do have a history or ovarian cyst but I never gave nausea with then or these type of cramps normally with them it's a stabbing pain on one side and painful sex...but sex is not painful nor have a had stabbing pain.....any ideas ????
