Period late??

According to Glow, my period is one day late... It was supposed to come today but no signs... I'm nervous to test and told my SO I want to wait at least a week before testing bc we've had many bfn ... The change from then and now is that I take a supplement called Fertility Blend and have been focused on what I eat, also I'm very spiritual so we've both been praying more for our beautiful baby to finally come ... But I think I'm just so afraid of the pain of a bfn that I'm scared to test ... How long do you normal wait before testing and how do you cope with a bfn?? Just looking for some support and encouraging words 😊
