Baby Registry?

I'm having my first baby and I live in another state from all of my family and friends. We just moved to a new place and we don't know anyone. 
I just finished my registry for my baby and I don't know how to go about it. No one has asked me for the information to get anything for the baby. 
I will not be having a baby shower because it is too much of a hassle to go all the way home to do it and I'm already pretty far along. 
Should I send my baby registry information to everyone or just wait for them to ask? I don't want people to think I'm begging for gifts. I just feel like no one really cares considering they haven't even asked.

I agree I would put the link on social media and say like "in case anyone was wondering about the info for our registry" or even say "some people have asked about info for a registry so here it is" nobody would really know that nobody has asked you about it yet

You could send out a baby announcement card to your friends/relatives and on the bottom you could mention where you are registered. It's cute, but also subtle.

I would hold off and see what they come up with. My husbands cousin lived in a different state and his fam had a shower over FaceTime and sent all the gifts in a big box. Right now it's probably just out of sight out of mind for them.

I would personally go about it by maybe posting the link on social media and wording it like, "since we're unable to have a baby shower- if you'd like to help out here's my registry...etc"
