Mother daughter talks

So the other day I was otp with my mom and she always gets onto me about dating because I'm always alone & complaining about how I have no one to do anything with and her answer is ALWAYS "get a man and you'll always have someone to spend time with" and occasionally she'll bring up how I'm always giving away my "potential man" because even if I'm into a guy or find him attractive I'll help a friend get with him because I feel that she might be better for him or whatnot , Well when I admitted that to her she instantly says "you must have some low self esteem issues" and when I said yes , yes I do she got upset , she said she couldn't believe it nor could she understand because I'm beautiful and something about the gene pool and blahh blahh blah . lol I think she's a bit dramatic 😂
