I don't know when to test

I had my baby 7 months ago and I'm ebf I haven't even gotten a period yet. My fiancé and I have been having unprotected sex (stupid I know) and I ran out of birth control and we had sex 2-3 days ago unprotected and I ran out of bc pill. But I haven't had s period when to determine when to even take a test. Help me out guys.. educate me lol I'm desperate
