conflicting weeks on how far along I am?

I have my first OB appt on Monday and according to them, I am 8w3d weeks along, but according to glow it is saying in 7 weeks 4 days. Has This happened to anyone?? Why would it be?

Glow calculates using your last period. If your doctor did an ultrasound they will base it on the size of baby. As you get further along they may change the date again.

I kinda had a similar experience 3 weeks ago I went to the doctors thinking I was 5w3d based on my last period and turned out I was actually 4w3d, from that day on glow has my pregnancy a week ahead. They said I may have gotten pregnant at the end of ovulation which is why I'm a week behind in my pregnancy.

According to my last period, I should be 2 weeks further along than my ultrasound dated me. My am a pcos sufferer so maybe that has to do with it.. or the fact that I only had 2 periods since my daughter was born before I got pregnant again (even though is two years old) Eitherway.. they go by the date on your ultrasound. Our bodies are mysterious wonderful things.. so it's hard to pin point conception date without an ultrasound.. don't worry..
