ovulation kit?

Question

When should I start an opk? Having trouble telling when I'm ovulating and I'm around more women now so my period has been late two months in a row due to the fact.

I started the day after AF ended since I was very irregular and seemed to be missing my fertile window every month. I used ClearBlue Advanced Ovulation Kit (it is more expensive but I really wanted to know and have success). I used 18 of the test sticks (one every morning I woke up). I got my first flashing smiley face (which means high estrogen) on CD14 and that lasted for 13 days, which is very long, but I finally got a solid smiley face on CD27 which meant Peak (ovulation). So I ovulate very, very late and have about a 38 day cycle!

Answer

It depends on the length of your cycle. Usually the instructions in the kits shows you a chart and tells you when to start based on your cycle length.
