Diabetic Pregnancy

While pregnant its very common to have gestational diabetes, however it can be carried on after your pregnancy.

How many of you ladies had gestational diabetes and how many of you carried on with diabetes after your pregnancy?

During my 1st pregnancy I had gestational diabetes and it went away after I had my baby. I am 4 months in ttc and Im a little scared to have gestational diabetes because I don't want it to carry on after. I dont know how common it is but I can't stand needles and I would be devastated to have it really.
