As a NON-RELIGIOUS person, do you believe in souls?

Question

I was speaking with my boyfriend and we're both non-religious. Both mostly agnostic with atheist leanings (but still acknowledge there's obviously no way to know for sure).
Anyway, I found out that he still believes in a sort of soul, which I thought was interesting because neither of us believe in a god or higher power (outside of the powers that drive science 😋).
So.. anymore of you guys out there that are non-religious but still believe in a soul and some sort of eternal existence?

I'm an atheist. I believe in energy. We all are energy. Energy is neither created nor destroyed. For me it lends some credence to almost a reincarnation theory where the energy of someone who has passed would then transfer to that of the living.

So not exactly a soul. Energy. Similar notions. I don't think the belief in a soul is a religious notion

I guess I'd never thought of the soul as inherently religious. I don't believe if God or a higher power, but I'd always believed living things have souls.

I think we feel too many powerful emotions in order for us not to have souls of some type. I think we bond, form attachments, & connect with others for a reason.

I don't believe in souls but I do believe in the principles of the conservation of energy which is a kind of soul belief, depending on how you look at it.

Not at the moment, no. 
I believe in science. And as of right now, there is zero scientific evidence to support the existence of a soul. If some time in the future, evidence is found to support that - then I will gladly change my opinion.

I do believe in souls, I'm a very spiritually connected person. I wouldn't go as far as to say a medium, but there are things in this world that I cannot explain and it would be foolish to deny them because man lacks the data to prove their existence. I am not so proud that I cannot say that I don't know everything and anyone else who claims to is a charlatan.

I'm not necessarily a religious person, I was raised baptist and am now agnostic/questioning my beliefs in general but do not classify myself as any western religion. With that being said I definitely believe in souls. I believe any living thing has a soul, humans, animals, plants, bugs, etc. I don't think the belief in souls has to do with religion what so ever.
