Do you find push up bras comfortable?

I'm a 36D and I recently tried some push up bras at Ann Summers but they were ridiculously uncomfortable and I was really disappointed. I'm struggling to find a bra that makes my boobs look good for non-casual stuff and I was hoping a push up would work. I've tried a couple of other brands too so I think it's just the style? I don't know if my boobs are too big for them because it felt like the straps were cutting into my shoulders and the cups were tipping forwards even though I called an assistant in and she said it fit fine.

Thoughts?

With big boobs I've found no push-up to be comfortable): it adds way too much extra padding. I find that my boobs look just as good with light padding but a lower cut! I think it's called Demi. I only wear vs so the lightly lined pink bras work super good! Because they are cut lower so your boobs still look perky but no over zealous padding that I don't need....

VS has the most amazing push ups and so comfy☺️ expensive yes but worth it. I like them because of the support offered:)

Ya no umm I'm a 32 B, so more than a lightly lined bra just doesn't work for my boobs😂.. I only wear bralettes or no bra

I'm a 36D but my push up bras are one size up. And I think they are comfy.

I find them so comfortable n now  I'm pregnant I need to sleep with a bra on, because my boobs so so sensative, I needed to borrow a non padded bra from my mom, I've gone from a 34C when not pregnant to a 34-36DD pregnant n  close to fitting an E if they keep getting bigger :(
