BFN but pregnancy symptoms???

My period is supposed to start in 8 days. Since the beginning of the week I've been feeling pregnancy symptoms - peeing all the time, cramping (and actually there's a specific spot in my lower belly, where I think my uterus is, that feels sore), super emotional and moody, food aversions (I wasn't able to eat an in-n-out cheeseburger!!!), nausea, swelling in my ankles/legs, bloating, vivid dreams, and my cervix is very soft. However - I got a BFN today with a First Response early test. Not even a faint line. I felt all of these symptoms with my daughter and got a BFP very early on so I'm discouraged. Shouldn't I get a BFP if these are really pregnancy symptoms? Or is it too early??
